Taiwan's jobless rate remained relatively stable in February despite the growing battle with the novel coronavirus disease during the month.
The government says the island's unemployment rate fell from a month earlier in July as the local job market has now stabilised.
Taiwan's official unemployment rate reached 4% in July, according to the monthly Manpower Survey Results report by the Directorate General of Budget Accounting & Statistics (DGBAS).
The unemployment rate rose by 0.1 percentage point to 3.99% in August.
Taiwan's jobless rate rose slightly last month.
