On behalf of everyone at the ECCT, we wish all our members, families and colleagues a merry Christmas and the most festive of holiday seasons. Euroview will be on a break over the holidays. No new articles will be added and news updates will be limited until early January 2025. 

From 16-18 December, an ECCT delegation, headed by Vice Chairman John Winter, Chairman Emeritus Giuseppe Izzo and CEO Freddie Höglund, completed another successful Open Door Mission to Brussels, Belgium.

Efforts are being made in many countries to "reshore", "friend-shore" or even completely decouple supply chains but results have been mixed at best and come at great cost. Whatever the political or economic motivation, to what extent is deglobalisation even possible and can its benefits ever outweigh its disruptive effects?
