An ECCT delegation headed by outgoing 2022 ECCT Chairman Henry Chang, incoming 2023 Chairman Giuseppe Izzo and CEO Freddie Höglund travelled to Brussels, Belgium for its annual Open Door Mission to the European Commission (EC) and other institutions.

The 2022 "Taiwan Energy Market Briefing report - Net-Zero Plan and Aggregated PPAs" was released by RE100 and the ECCT's Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) at a Premium Event lunch attended by over 100 members and guests.

The ECCT held its 2022 Annual General Meeting where members voted in new boards of directors and supervisors for 2023 and annual reports were delivered by 2022 ECCT Chairman H Henry Chang and Executive Supervisor Mike Jewell.

The ECCT launched its 2023 Position Papers at a Premium Event lunch, which was attended by around 90 members and guests.

The 2022 Global Offshore Wind Energy Summit - Taiwan (GOWST) was organised for the fourth consecutive year by the ECCT and the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), co-organised by the Taiwan International Ports Corporation (TIPC) and the Metals Industries Research & Development Center (MIRDC) and endorsed by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC).

The ECCT's Gala Ball once again lived up to its reputation as being the highlight of Taipei's annual social calendar.
