President Tsai Ing-wen has attended the open ceremony of Computex 2023 at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei.

One of the world's biggest computer and technology trade shows - Computex - has been cancelled amid fears over the continuing spread of Covid-19 in other parts of the world.

Several industry heavyweights will be taking part in this year's Computex.

Computex is set to return to Taipei's Nangang Exhibition Hall on 24 May after two years of virtual expos due to the coronavirus pandemic

Computex 2024 kicks off on 4 June this year under the theme of "Connecting AI" – with organizers pointing to AI servers, edge AI personal computers, and all kinds of innovative AI applications and solutions as highlights.
