No booster shot yet
The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) is shooting down rumours that it has approved a third shot of coronavirus vaccine.
Reports have surfaced of medical personnel receiving notifications that they are eligible to receive a third dose of the AstraZeneca jab.
The CECC says a booster shot has not been okayed yet, and these notifications are fake and should be ignored.
They also note that these notifications came from obviously non-governmental e-mail addresses.
According to the CECC's latest figures, 73.47% of the eligible population has now had at least one shot of a Covid-19 vaccine.
In related news, the (CECC) confirmed that Taiwan has received another 1.5 million doses of Moderna Covid-19 vaccines donated by the US and that the 14th round of vaccinations will prioritize those who will be receiving their second dose of a Moderna vaccine.
