30 September, 2021
Over 80% of office workers said they believed the Quintuple Stimulus Voucher will increase the chance of finding a part-time job. According to apoll conducted by the yes123 job bank, a vast majority of them plan to get a part-time job in the fourth quarter of the year. That's the highest level in eight years.
Office workers were hoping that they could make an average of NT$10,000 a month from moonlighting.
Most on-demand part-time jobs include delivery workers, YouTuber, food and drink service staff, and online salespersons.
The poll also shows that college students are keen about working part-time as well, with 88% saying that they plan to do so this semester.
Of these people, more than half said they'd like to have two part-time jobs.
