A poll by TVBS shows that 86% of respondents are willing to get vaccinated against coronavirus, nearly double the number in an early April survey.

Only 9% said they would not get it.

The survey also indicates that people have more faith in US-produced vaccines with 88% saying they are willing to get the Pfizer/BNT vaccine shots, and Moderna also has 86% support, followed by Johnson & Johnson's 79%.

As for the AstraZeneca vaccine, 70% of respondents expressed willingness to take it.

People are much more reluctant regarding the two Taiwan-made vaccine candidates, which have yet to be granted Emergency Use Authorization.

Only some 53% will accept those, with 40% saying they won't.
