Vaccines extended to military and seniors

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) has expanded its coronavirus vaccination programme from today to cover all military personnel and Taiwanese residents aged 65 or over.
All full-time members of the armed forces as well as those who serve in civilian posts within the military and national security units are eligible. That covers an estimated 208,000 people while the CECC says that Taiwanese residents aged 65 or over number around 3.4 million.
