Cabinet introducing new employee disaster bill

Premier Su Tseng-chang says the Executive Yuan is introducing a new employee disaster insurance bill.
The bill would widen insurance protections to include those not covered by previous regulations, or approximately 330,000 workers. About 1,700 companies would be affected by the new measures.
The proposal still requires legislative review.
