Average salaries up 1.37%

In November 2020, the average regular salaries/wages of full-time employees with Taiwan nationality (excluding the foreigners and part-time employees) was NT$44,926, an increase of 1.37% from the same month in 2019, according to a report by the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting & Statistics (DGBAS). After adding irregular earnings such as bonuses and overtime pay, average total earnings were NT$50,626, an increase of 0.36% from the same month in 2019.

According to the report, regular earnings of all employees (including full-time and part-time employees with Taiwan nationality and foreigners) was NT$42,786, up 1.63% from the same month in 2019. After adding irregular earnings such as bonuses and overtime pay, the average total earnings were NT$48,242, a rise of 0.65% from the same month of 2019.
