The National Immigration Agency has again extended the duration of stay for foreigners who arrived in Taiwan before 21 March.
This is the sixth time that the agency has done so due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Those with a valid visa that has yet to expire will automatically get a 30-day extension until mid-January.
However, officials say people who have overstayed their visa should leave Taiwan as soon as possible.
