CECC reclassifies Hong Kong and Vietnam coronavirus risk
10 September, 2020
The Central Epidemic Command Center has placed Hong Kong back on its list of regions from which business travellers can apply for shorter quarantine periods on their arrival in Taiwan.
Hong Kong was originally included in the list of zones with low-to-moderate risk of coronavirus when the policy was first launched on June 22, but was removed when following a surge in cases there in late July.
According to Health Minister Chen Shih-chung, Hong Kong has now been put back on the low-to-moderate risk list as the situation there has continued to improve.
