MOL announces wage hike

The Ministry of Labour has announced an official minimum wage hike. Starting next year, the minimum monthly salary will be NT$24,000, while the minimum hourly wage will be NT$160.
That's up from the current NT$23,800 and NT$158, respectively.
Those numbers were suggested by the basic wage review committee last month.
The changes should benefit over two million workers across Taiwan.
