Online platform launched for civil servants to report bullying

An online platform allowing civil servants from different government agencies to file complaints about workplace bullying will be launched today.
The platform will be managed by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration and will begin taking complaints from 10:00 this morning.
Cabinet spokeswoman Michelle Lee says the platform will not allow civil servants to file complaints anonymously. The spokeswoman says Premier Cho Jung-tai is expecting government agencies to "handle workplace bullying cases properly" and that there should be no cover-ups or delays.
The Directorate-General of Personnel Administration says when the platform receives a complaint, the relevant agency will be notified and required to report back within three days confirming whether or not an investigation has been launched. Investigations will then need to be completed within a month, but deadlines can be extended by another month if necessary.
