MOE launches AI-powered English testing system

The Ministry of Education (MOE) has launched a free, AI-driven English self-assessment system for students from elementary to high school.
The system covers vocabulary, listening, reading, speaking, and writing, with real-time results and personalized learning resources.
The initiative is part of Taiwan’s Bilingual 2030 policy, aimed at improving students' English skills. Around 750,000 students are expected to benefit from the system each year.
The tests are based on the national curriculum and European language standards, offering four levels of difficulty. Students can take the tests online at testmyenglish.edu.tw, and the AI provides instant feedback and links to additional resources, such as tools
