HSR to increase services

To offer more services during the summer travel time, the Taiwan High Speed Rail has announced an increase in the number of train services starting from 1 July.
That means that from that date, weekly train services will increase by 43, bringing the total number to 1,103, setting a record high.
The increased train trips are mostly for the northbound ones from Taichung to Taipei Nangang. THSR said it made the decision after observing booking data and train passenger loads over an extended period of time.
Passengers can purchase tickets according to the new schedule starting from midnight on 2 June.
