Incoming administration planning new regional revitalisation phase

Vice president-elect Hsiao Bi-khim says the government plans to launch a new phase of the regional revitalization plan next year, which aims to form links between local towns and the world.
Speaking at the opening of a two-day Sustainable Development Goals forum in Taipei, Hsiao said the move is a continuation of the national strategic plan for regional development that began in 2019.
Hsiao says the goal of the 3.0 version of the revitalization plan is aimed at sparking islandwide growth. Hsiao also says the plan aims to improve the government's Sustainable Development Goals.
