John Deng to lead Taiwan delegation to WTO conference

Taiwan's top trade negotiator John Deng will lead a delegation of officials to the 13th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization in Abu Dhabi later this week.
According to the Office of Trade Negotiations, the delegation will be raising various issues at the meeting.
Those issues included requesting the W-T-O better resolve problems that have surfaced as a result of non-market economies abusing subsidies designated for specific markets.
The delegation to Abu Dhabi includes Taiwan's representative to the WTO Luo Chang-fa and officials from the Office of Trade Negotiations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Agriculture.
