Meta deletes 7,700 Chinese disinformation accounts

Social media giant Meta, which owns Facebook, has taken a step against Chinese disinformation campaigns.
The company deleted more than 7,700 Facebook accounts involved in spreading misleading information.
The Ministry of Digital Affairs confirms that it's in close contact with Meta, sharing important intelligence to fight against such campaigns.
This is seen as a move to counter online efforts that secretly promote China while criticizing the West.
