July export orders down 12%

Taiwan’s export orders were US$47.7 billion in July 2023, a decrease of 12.0% compared with the same month in 2022. According to a report from the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), it was the 11th consecutive monthly year-on-year decline.

In the first seven months of this year, Taiwan's export orders have fallen by 19.6% to US$316.30 billion compared to the same period in 2022.
