Dutch cyclist wins Tour de Taiwan

Dutch cyclist Jeroen Meijers of the Terengganu Polygon Cycling team has won this year's Tour de Taiwan.

 

Meijers was the overall winner in the individual general classification, with a total time of 15-hours 39-minutes and 49-seconds. He was followed by Spain's Jordi Lopez of team Equipo Kern Pharma.

Meijers was named event winner following the 146.4-kilometer fifth and final stage of this year's Tour de Taiwan, which included three intermediate sprints and two King of the Mountain sections in Kaohsiung. Jeroen Meijers' Terengganu Polygon team also won the Team General Classification race category.
