2022 IT month to begin this week

The annual IT Month will begin this Thursday (10 November), with organizers saying this year'sevent will be highlighting the developments and achievements of Taiwan's digital transformation.

 

According to the Taipei Computer Association, this year's IT Month will be held under the theme "Digital leadership, reality/virtuality harmony" and aims to give visitors a better understanding of progress in the new digital era.

 

The association says some 70 companies will be showcasing their state-of-the-art devices and technologies at 300 booths during the three-day digital fair at Taipei's World Trade Center.

 

Along with the private sector, the Ministry of Digital Affairs will also be on hand as it marks its recent inauguration.

 

The ministry says a special government pavilion will feature 100 booths set up by government-assisted startups at which they will be presenting a wide range of applications focusing on cybersecurity, telecommunications and media technologies.
