Wind Energy committee hires new staffer

The ECCT is pleased to welcome its newest member of staff. Li Kuo (first name Li, surname Kuo) has been hired as Committee Officer for the Wind Energy committee. In this role, as a dedicated staff member for the committee, Li will coordinate the committee's affairs, including arranging meetings with government, public events, visits and other activities for the committee. Li recently received a master's degree in Emerging Economies and International Development from the University of London. He received his bachelor's degree in sociology from the National Sun-Yat-Sen University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Before going to graduate school, he worked as an Assistant for Foreign Affairs in Taiwan's Legislative Yuan, which helped him to gain knowledge and experience of Taiwan's foreign, economic and industrial policy, legislative processes, trade and investment relations, and the government's priorities related to business development and export promotion. Prior to this he worked for MYOFFICE LEASE in Taipei where he conducted research on current market and industry trends. Li comes on board at an important and exciting time for the Wind Energy industry in Taiwan following the inauguration of the first offshore wind farm in 2019 with many other wind farms set to ramp up in the next few years.
