People over 47 now eligible for BNT jab

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) says the next round of coronavirus vaccinations, providing first doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and second doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, will begin on 15 October.

The new round includes individuals aged 47 years old and over, those in the 12-22 age group, and those 18 years old and over in the 9th vaccination category, who registered on the vaccination website prior to 6 October and listed Pfizer-BioNTech as one of their choices.

While those in the 18-55 age group who received their first AstraZeneca jab before 22 July as well as individuals aged 56 years old and over who received their first AstraZeneca jab before 30 July are now eligible to make appointments for their second dose.
