Taiwan’s cabinet says the vaccination appointment platform is now ready but it won't be used until the vaccination programme is open for all.
Cabinet spokesman Luo Bing-cheng says the platform, designed by digital minister Audrey Tang, is similar to the National Health Insurance Administration's My Health App.
The current vaccine drive includes the first six priority groups, and Luo says after all 10 priority groups totalling 14.9 million people get vaccinated, the rest of the population will be eligible for the shot.
Luo says that's when the platform will go into effect for people to make their appointment.
