Salaries rise by 2.77%

Average regular monthly earnings of full-time employees with Taiwanese nationality (excluding the foreigners and part-time employees) was NT$45,423 in April (the latest figures available), representing an increase of 2.77% from the same month in 2019. According to a news release from the Directorate General of Budget Accounting and Statistics, after adding irregular earnings such as bonuses and overtime pay, average total monthly earnings were NT$52,712, an increase of 4.54% from the same month last year.
